Setup Guide – Creating New Workspaces

With your same Contact Button login credentials, you are able to create and access buttons for multiple domains by using what we call a “Workspaces”. Workspaces are typically used by Web Development agencies or Creatives who manage multiple websites, but any Contact Button user has the ability to create as many workspaces as they like.

Please note: every new workspace you create will require an extra Contact Button subscription from the start as we do not offer multiple free trials to the same user.

If you still want to proceed with creating a new workspace, all you need to do is the following:

Step 1

Click the “Add New” button in the main menu of you dashboard


Step 2

Enter the Top-Level Domain URL for your new workspace.

Note 1: You do not need to create new accounts to add buttons to any subdomain of the workspace’s URL, including your initial domain.

Note 2: We do not currently allow you to choose a domain that isn’t already active.


Step 3 

Proceed to setup your new buttons and apps like you did for your first workspace.

At this time, we do not allow users to share apps across Workspaces, so you’ll need to recreate any that you want to use again.


Step 4 

Once everything is setup, you can easily switch between workspaces by clicking on the new “Select Domain Workspace” dropdown that now appears on the bottom left of the main menu.
